This one was performed by the catholic choir at Christmastime usually. We ususally had special songs for that time. The choir would rehearse in my Grandparents' den and we normally began rehearsing special Christmas songs in the summer cause they were usually difficult but the many hours of practice paid off. The guitar solo was not in the original arrangement, it was my additional twist.
lyrics
The Messiah is coming the Messiah is coming
To save us from our sins
As the angel promised to his mother Mary
He's coming for all men
And we will hail the Messiah we will sing good tidings
Of the birth of the Savior who will come for us
We will hail the Messiah and give praise to his name
The Messiah is coming the Messiah is coming
To take us to Himself
He will soon be with us to guide and teach us
Of the ways God meant for men
And we will hail the Messiah we will sing good tidings
Of the birth of the Savior who will come for us
We will hail the Messiah and give praise to His name
guitar solo
The Messiah is coming the Messiah is coming to take us to Himself
He will soon be with us to guide and teach us
Of the ways God meant for men
And we will hail the Messiah we will sing good tidings
Of the birth of the Savior who will come for us
We will hail the Messiah and give praise to His name
(Hail the Messiah)
and give praise to His name
(Hail the Messiah)
and give praise to His name
(Hail the Messiah)
And give praise to His name
HAIL THE MESSIAH
