Me ,mom and dad used to sing around the piano in the music room often. This one I recall in particular. We sang it often. With us all singing I imagine he could work out the harmony parts that he'd be teaching the choir but this one never made it to the choir. There was a version we did with the short lived Parrino Family with my grandparents and aunts but this is the only proper recording which features only little ole me. The guitar solo actually came about during the Parrino Family rehearsals so that was already Daddy approved years before I recorded it. I left the informal beginning for posterity. I thought it was going to be a cake walk but all bets are off when the record button goes on.
lyrics
All my life
I;ve been wondering why
I've a God that loves me so
I'll never know
I'll never know
He gives me things
Things that I don't deserve
I wonder why
He loves me so
I'll never know
I'll never know
But when I make it to Heaven
The joy I'll be sharing
And maybe
One day I'll know
guitar solo
All my life
I've been wondering why
I've a God that loves me so
I'll never know
I'll never know
But when I make it to Heaven
The joy I'll be sharing
And maybe
One day I'll know
One day I'll know
One day I'll know
One day I'll know
