Another one I especially remember my dad playing in the music room as he wrote it and me and mom joining in after a while. I think it's fitting that while recording this album I was also discovering the early harmony laden beautiful pop recordings of Harry Nilsson from the 60s
lyrics
If Jesus is lord of our lives
Then he should be lord of our living
Lord of every work
Of every thought
Of every word that flows from our hearts
He should determine the path we walk
The way we speak each time we talk
For if Jesus is lord of our lives
Then He's lord of our hearts
And He's lord of our spirits
And He's lord of our souls
If Jesus is lord of our lives
Then he should be lord of our living
Lord of every work
Of every thought
Of every word that flows from our hearts
He should determine the path we walk
The way we speak each time we talk
For if Jesus is lord of our lives
Then He's lord of our homes
And He's lord of our living
And He's lord of our all
guitar solo
He should determine the path we walk
The way we speak each time we talk
For if Jesus is lord of our lives
Then He's lord of our hearts
And He's lord of our spirits
And He's lord of our all
